New Year’s Greetings from the President

Requested New Year Donations

New Year’s Greetings from the President

Our annual drive was very successful and we thank each and every one of you. Every single dollar counts as we head into the winter months. Our herd now numbers 29 as we have taken in six new horses, sent two to another herd here in Virginia, and found a new and wonderful home for Wildeyed Dreamer. We hope that all of the new horses are suitable for retraining and that appears to be the case.

Brooks Lyon has been very busy with Happy, who is really coming along nicely. A photo of Happy is shown below; for additional information, go to her profile at Haps Online ("Happy"). She is planning a road trip very soon to school at some new places. This mare is looking to be a very nice show hunter. If you know anyone who might be interested, please have them e-mail Meghan Konrad at statefarmhorses@aol.com.

Happy New Year to all of our friends and supporters from the board of TRF James River, all of our wonderful volunteers, the horses and the men who care for them.
