Claw is receiving wonderful care at JRHF. The road to recovery can be challenging. JRHF and ACT partner to help horses like Claw that need our assistance!
Claw is a kind classy fella that gave everything he had to the sport. With 91, (no that is not a typo, actually 91) career starts! Earning $227,521. Not a winner every race but consistently on the board. He gave everything he had to give every time out. A sesamoid injury ended a long and respectable career. His kind connections sent him to us to find his next chapter. At 8 years old he is ready to find a new journey and has a calm, sweet, and wise personality. 5 star reviews all around.
Claw has finished his stall rest and hand walking portion of his rehab with ACT and arrived at James River Horse Foundation for a couple months of being spoiled and transitioning slowly to full turn out to complete his rehab. His rehab is going beautifully and he should be ready for a low level career soon.
